New!  Interactive Event Calendar Upcoming Events (meeting location) May 16 - General Meeting - Sierra Club and civic engagement - Public participation is an important part of rulemaking processes, but learning the ins and outs can be complicated. In order to make public participation in air quality processes easier and more accessible, the Air Quality Division has created a presentation on the rulemaking process, how to stay informed, the correct way to file comments, and tips on how to make your comments more effective. The presentation also describes how to submit your own rule, how to comment on air permits, and how to file environmental complaints.  Heather Lerch (presenter) is an Environmental Programs Specialist with the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality.  Join us for a social time with wine and cheese that starts at 7:00 pm and the program begins at 7:30.
