Sept 28, 12:45pm: Day Hike in the Wichita Wildlife Refuge
Are you a "turtle speed" hiker? Then this is the trip for you! Join us at the Wichita Wildlife Refuge.  We'll explore upper Mount Scott, check out the Visitor's Center, and hike up Elk Mountain (or maybe another trail). We will be taking the trail at a leisurely pace, with stops to admire the scenery.  Click here to register!

Oct 5, 8:00am: Wild Caving in Alabaster Caverns
Come and explore the undeveloped caves at Alabaster Caverns State Park. The caves range in lenth from 550 to 1600 feet.  There are no lights, pathways or other "modern" conveniences. Passing through these caves requires crawling, scrambling, and squeezing in, around, and through rock formations, narrow holes, mud, and puddles.  You do not have to have caving or rock climging experience to come on thsi outing, but you should know your limites and be aware of how well you handle tight spaces.  Click here for more information and to register!

Oct 12, 10am - 5pm - Day Hike Osage Hills State Park
Osage Hills State Park has three of the neatest trails in our state parks. This group will hike all three in one afternoon, making one huge loop around the park in about 3 hours. It is a great fall walk in the woods, visiting Lookout Lake and The Overlook.  Click here for more information and to register!
