- Sierra Club outings are open to members and non-members alike. In order to participate on an outing, you will need to sign a liability waiver. A copy of the waiver, as well as group outing policies, is available at the outings table at monthly meetings or here.
- To sign up for an outing, please contact the outing leader.
- Outings with fewer than 6 participants on the Tuesday before the event may be cancelled.
- Leaders and assistants are trained volunteers who work hard to make each trip a success.
- Radios, guns and pets are not permitted on outings.
- There is a $5.00 per day donation to cover outing expenses.
- Transportation is not part of the outing. While it is customary for participants to make carpooling arrangements for outings, the Sierra Club does not have insurance for carpooling, ride sharing, or anything similar, and assumes no liability for them. For insurance coverage, all outings begin at the trailhead.
