- Food Fair - July 17th - Meeting which is going to be a very different and
fun affair to be held at
First Unitarian Church. We will have a speaker but will also
be conducting a food fair with local growers, vintners,
etc. It's being held at First Unitarian Church because of a conflict with a
big activity at Mayflower on our meeting night.

- General Meeting - August 21st we will resume meetings at
Mayflower. Mike Scharrer - "Show & tell" on Landscaping for
Energy Conservation—Will include some abbreviated information on
"zeriscaping" for water conservation. Audience participation
format.
- Movie Night - August 27th, 7:00 p.m. - Also after a two year
hiatus, Movie Night returns to our lineup (bi-monthly), this
time at Mayflower Church, our wonderful and magnanimous host for
so many things. In June, the first month for Movie night, we
were inspired by Leonardo DiCaprio’s “The Eleventh Hour”, a
fantastic follow-up to “An Inconvenient Truth”. - In
August, we will be watching another amazing film, this time
about an Oklahoma subject— “Shall We Gather At the River, a new
film exposing the political influence, intimidation, threats,
corruption, false advertising and delaying tactics that have
made the U.S. the dumping ground of factory farm pollution. (See

- General Meeting - September 18th - Mark Gibbs - Mark is a
member of the ACOG Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee. He
will talk about proposed bicycle routes and rack locations.
