Arbuckle Simpson Aquifer, SB 288 6/3/03
- We were just notified that Gov. Henry has
signed SB 288. THANKS TO EACH OF YOU FOR YOUR TIRELESS EFFORTS!!!!
- It protects the Arbuckle Simpson Aquifer
from dangerous levels of groundwater pumping out of the aquifer basin. It
protects the property rights of landowners above the aquifer to continue their
domestic and agricultural uses of water from the aquifer, and it protects the
property rights of everyone now dependent on the groundwater and springs and
streams of the aquifer.
