Chapter Office Conservation Organizer

meet Billie Brown...

Billie Brown is our new Conservation Organizer for Oklahoma. She comes from a background in Education. Billie has a BA in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Reading. She worked for the Oklahoma Public Schools and was the Director of Volunteer Services. She recently was a volunteer coordinator for a local campaign.

"Conservation education is an important part in saving our natural resources. Volunteers are the Heartbeat of the Sierra Club and our education campaign. I hope to provide support and capacity building in this area."

Billie and her husband have always enjoyed outings in natural surroundings and strive to leave campsites cleaner than they are found.
