Dead hog dumped in a waterway at the Pavlu-Hodge swine facility in Blaine County, Oklahoma. Discussions between the operator and the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture concerning the fine levied for an array of violations resulted in a mere $2,000 settlement.

A center pivot irrigation system pumps swine waste on saturated ground at a Pig Improvement Facility in Kingfisher County, Oklahoma. According to Best Management Practices required by Oklahoma law, waste shall not be applied under such conditions.

A plastic lagoon liner at Seaboard's Calvin/Ivans/Perkins site near Elkhart, Kansas, that failed when manure seeped under the liner at the inlet pipes. The site is under a remediation order from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Some of the bubbles are the size of a large house.
