Building Environmental Communities (BEC) Updates

Please join the Cimarron Group of the Sierra Club  

in partnership with the Central Park Neighborhood Association for

“Lighting the Way to Energy Savings”

 It’s a fun fall outreach opportunity to Build Environmental Communities (BEC) by distributing free compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs and educational materials in the N.W. 36th and Shartel neighborhood.  Residents will also be invited to attend the Fall Energy Festival November 9 from 5:30pm-10:00pm at the Gold Dome. 

  Meet us Saturday, October 27th   -  9:00 am for a light breakfast and training

at the Gold Dome  (Second floor) 1112 N.W. 23rd & Classen Boulevard in OKC 

and/or

Come and bring your family and friends to the Energy Festival Friday evening, November 9, for hourly presentations on winterizing your home starting  at 6:00pm, exhibits (trees, recycling, composting, energy conservation, Use Less Stuff, and more) and a free showing of the one-hour film "Kilowatt Hours" at 9:00pm.

All attendees will receive one free CFL and local food snacks will be served.
